Who We Are
"Providing services as are benefit to and needed by the Senior Citizens of the County, and through these services to assist all people of the County, sixty years of age and over to remain in their own homes or other places of residence for as long as possible, to ensure a quality of life, with respect and honor." -1976
Since 1976, Project Support has been dedicated
to strengthening community and connection
for seniors in Idaho Springs.
In partnership with Volunteers of America (VOA),
we serve hot meals, deliver Meals on Wheels,
and offer reliable transportation to
medical appointments, and social outings
in the community.
We also provide affordable senior housing
and a welcoming senior center — built around friendship, dignity, and belonging.
Through our thrift shop, The Queen’s Wardrobe,
we invite the whole community to take part
in this mission. Every donation, purchase,
and shared smile helps us build a stronger,
more connected Community.

Services

Senior Center
With this initiative, our goal is to nurture opportunities and connection for everyone in need. We believe that when people have access to the right resources, they become empowered by their own strengths
and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.
At the Project Support Senior Center, we offer a wide range of programs that bring people together — from wellness clinics, movie nights, and educational presentations to exercise classes, book club
and creative activities.
We’re also growing new traditions that celebrate the power of community, including our Intergenerational Lunch and Monthly Coffee Hour, where neighbors
of all ages can gather, share stories,
and learn from one another.
People are social, communal beings — and our youth need the wisdom of our seniors just as much as our seniors thrive on the energy of the next generation. Together, we build strength through mutual support, connection, and care.

Make A Difference at our Senior Center or Queen's Wardrobe Thrift Shoppe
At Project Support, we believe in building community through compassion and connection. Our mission goes beyond providing services — we create spaces where people can come together, share stories, learn, and thrive.
The Project Support Senior Center is a safe, welcoming place for seniors to gather, enjoy meals, and take part in activities that enrich the mind, body, and spirit. From wellness clinics and exercise classes to movie nights, educational talks, and social gatherings.
We serve those who need it most — and in doing so, we serve our whole community. Every shared meal, every conversation, and every act of care helps strengthen the bonds that connect us all.
If our mission speaks to you, we’d love to have you join us. Volunteers are the heart of what we do — whether you’re helping with programs, serving meals, or lending a hand in The Queen’s Wardrobe Thrift Shoppe.
Our shoppe is stocked through community donations, and every item is sorted, and displayed with care by our incredible team of volunteers. As a thank-you, volunteers receive 50% off all store purchases.
When we lift one another up, we all rise together — building a stronger, kinder Idaho Springs
